Postgraduate Research Student (PGR) Support
Your PGR Support Service Teams
Your PGR support teams can provide information and advice on a number of services including:
- Funding queries
- Interruptions and extensions
- Sickness queries
- Upgrade advice
- Viva and examination queries
- Annual Monitoring Review process queries
- IT equipment queries (subjects in ESE and HLS)
- Study space queries (subjects in HASS and the Business School)
- MyPGR queries
The teams can also provide advice on wellbeing services. For more details, you can visit the Wellbeing website.

Streatham PGR Hub
The Streatham PGR Hub is open from 10.00am – 3.00pm Monday to Friday. The Streatham Hub is situated in the Old Library Ground Floor next to the Quiet Study Space and Bill Douglas Centre.
The Education Welfare Advisor will be available on the Streatham Campus on Mondays for face to face appointments and Team meeting appointments are available at any time.
St Luke’s PGR Hub
The St Luke’s PGR Hub is open from 10.00am – 3.00pm Monday to Thursday. Students wishing to access the hub should go to the Info at St Luke’s desk and request PGR support, the PGR team will then be called to see you.
The Education Welfare Advisor will be available on the St Luke’s Campus on Tuesdays for face to face appointments and Team meeting appointments are available at any time.
Penryn PGR Support
The Penryn PGR Support Office is open from 10.00am – 2.00pm Monday to Friday and is based in the Postgraduate Suite in Daphne Du Maurier building 3 (next to the FXU and opposite the Stannary).
The Education Welfare Advisor will be available on the Penryn Campus on alternate Wednesdays for face to face appointments and Team meeting appointments are available at any time.
The main phone number for the PGR Support teams is 01392 726295. Phone lines are open 10.00am-3.00pm Monday to Friday* and you will be able to select the relevant team for your Faculty or PGR Admin team via the telephone options.
